Making the Sound Bite Count is designed for Chief and Senior Executives, this media workshop has has the advantage of being held in a real working radio studio, utilizing the available technology to provide instant playback and to get you accustomed to the studio environment.

Mike and Ray The workshop will be led by two very experienced presenters, Mike Philpott and Ray Hayden, who have extensive knowledge and experience in the newspaper, radio and television industries—locally, nationally and internationally.  Mike and Ray will teach interview techniques with the aim of making you feel more at ease in front of the camera or microphone.

Improvements to the programme will enable participants to:

  1. use full closed circuit television feedback of the participant's performance for assessment of body language etc;
  2. to see how a live broadcast works, and to see the news bulletins being prepared;
  3. to recreate panel discussions, phone-ins with up to nine lines, and remote interviews.
  4. We are also looking at the possibility of allowing participants the option of taking their audio and video home on flash memory sticks or downloading it from the web to their home computers.
