The second in a series of Public Affairs briefings organised in co-operation with the Ulster Bank Group
This was the second briefing in a Public Affairs Series with corporate partners the Ulster Bank. This session, provided an opportunity to discuss spending options and priorities and was a timely opportunity to hear the views of a several key stakeholders on what can be done to help the Northern Ireland economy climb out of recession.
As Seán Dorgan, Chairman of the Ulster Bank Group, and John Hunter, the Forum's Chair, remarked a during the first Ulster Bank Public Affairs Series event in June, we face many challenges over the course of the next few years when the long-term impact of the global credit crunch and the economic recession will be felt on public finances.
