Following on from this event, the Northern Ireland Audit Office is hosting a focus group to look at practical ways to aid board effectiveness in areas such as composition, operation, training and development and evaluation. This will inform work that the NIAO is taking forward to produce a good practice publication on Board Effectiveness. The NIAO has already sought input from Board Members through the office of the Chairs’ Forum and now wishes to consider recommendations from an Executive perspective.
The NIAO would be grateful for attendance by around ten people, either chief executives or senior officers.
