Creating the conditions for economic growth', published jointly by the Forum and PricewaterhouseCoopers, this short article summmarises a number of key points arising from a discussion involving a group of chief executives and experts.

Against a background of financial turbulence, recession and the prospect of tighter public finances, 20 public sector leaders and experts met in Belfast to consider the implications for the Northern Ireland economy in the context of Building a Better Future: The Northern Ireland Executive's Programme for Government 2008-11.

This article draws together some of the key points arising from that meeting, one of an ongoing series of meetings that represent a corporate partnership between the Chef Executives' Forum and PricewaterhouseCooopers.
