This half-day workshop involved a series of presentations from media experts and senior managers from the public and private sectors.
The media experts were Tim McKane of Navajo Talk, the social media agency, and Mike Philpott and Iain Webster, who both have extensive knowledge of the newspaper, radio and television industries.
Sector representatives were Caroline Dixon, External Communications Manager, Belfast City Council; Ciaran Rogan, Translink Marketing Executive; and Roger Pollen, Head of External Affairs at the Federation of Small Businesses .
